TERMS AND CONDITIONS

PLUMBING SERVICE TERMS & CONDITIONS
(STATE OF COLORADO)

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all plumbing services provided by ROCKIN T PLUMBING (“Contractor”). 

By approving any estimate, quote, work order, or invoice, the customer (“Customer”) agrees to be bound by these Terms.

1. SCOPE OF WORK

All services are limited to the work described in the approved estimate or quote. Any additional work requested or required will be treated as a change order.

2. CHANGE ORDERS

Any deviation from the original scope of work must be approved prior to execution.

• Additional charges and time may apply
• Verbal approvals may be relied upon when necessary to avoid delays

3. PROGRESS BILLING

• Projects exceeding a 14 calendar day timeline will be billed on a percentage-of-completion basis.
• Payment schedule may include:
  • Initial deposit: 20% payment
  • Mid Project: 60% payment
  • Final payment upon completion

Contractor reserves the right to:

• Submit invoices based on work completed
• Pause work if invoices are not paid per agreed terms

4. LATE PAYMENTS

• A late fee of 2% per month following the due date (not to exceed Colorado legal      limits) may be applied to overdue balances.
• Customer agrees to pay all reasonable costs of collection, including attorney fees      and court costs.

5. SCHEDULING & DEPOSITS

• Deposits      may be non-refundable once:
  • Materials       are ordered
  • Labor       is scheduled

    

6. ACCESS & JOBSITE CONDITIONS

• Customer agrees to provide safe and reasonable access to the work area.
• Customer is responsible for removing or protecting any furniture, fixtures, personal property, or other items that may obstruct the work area prior to the scheduled service.

Contractor shall not be responsible for:

• Moving furniture or personal belongings
• Damage to items not removed from the work area
• Damage resulting from limited or obstructed access

Contractor is not responsible for delays caused by:

• Restricted access
• Unsafe conditions
• Utility interruptions

7. UNFORESEEN CONDITIONS

Plumbing systems may contain hidden defects or code violations.

If discovered:

• Work may pause
• Customer will be notified
• Additional work requires approval and may incur additional costs

8. MATERIALS & EQUIPMENT

• Contractor is not responsible for manufacturer defects.
• Customer-supplied materials are not warranted by Contractor.

9. WARRANTIES

Labor warranty (if provided) applies only to workmanship

Warranty excludes:

• Misuse or neglect
• Pre-existing conditions
• Normal wear and tear

10. PERMITS & CODE COMPLIANCE

Permits and inspections will be handled as specified in the estimate.

Additional costs may apply unless explicitly included.

11. CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations after scheduling may be subject to fees.

Deposits may be forfeited if materials have been purchased.

12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by Colorado law, Contractor shall not be liable for:

• Pre-existing conditions
• Incidental or consequential damages
• Failures of existing plumbing systems

13. MECHANIC’S LIEN RIGHTS (COLORADO)

Customer acknowledges that Contractor has the right to file a mechanic’s lien in accordance with Colorado law for unpaid labor, materials, or services.

14. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Colorado.

15. ACCEPTANCE

Approval of any estimate, quote, or invoice constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
